For those who prefer longer over shorter (in terms of silencers, of course), the Dead Air Armament Sandman-L is an optimal choice in the 7.62mm rifle category. Similar to its smaller brethren—S and TI models—the Sandman-L is a versatile and highly-effective can for your centerfire hosts. 

Sporting the same build metals—stainless steel core and Stellite™ baffle stack—as the shorter S unit, the L measures 8.9” and weighs 21.8 ounces. With a slightly longer frame comes more effective sound suppression. To that point, the durable Sandman-L provides a reduction of 31 dB when firing standard 7.62mm ammo. By utilizing the same convenient and high-performing QD mounting system as the S version, the L suppressor promotes precision and minimal POI shift, all while being securely attached to your preferred host. 

The mount features Nitride® finished 17-4 stainless steel construction for the ultimate in durability.

The Stellite® baffles form a solid welded core for extreme durability with a detachable front cap featuring an integrated flash hider. The entire suppressor gets a Cerakote® finish for ultimate corrosion protection. For a tactical bolt rifle or a .308 AR there isn’t a better can in the Sandman-L™ class.

Each Sandman-S, Sandman-L, and Sandman-K ships with a Keymount Muzzle Brake. No need to budget extra for a mount. When your Sandman-S or Sandman-L comes we want you to get to the range as quickly as possible!

When you’re ready for peace and quiet use the Keymount brake to quickly attach your Sandman-L™, Sandman-S™, and Sandman-K™ to your rifle. If you’re not quite ready to turn up the silence, you can still employ the finest brake on the market and experience a flatter shooting rifle with minimal concussion compared to traditional muzzle brakes.
