Lower Receiver
The Model 1836 (year of Texas independence) receiver is made to Military Standard from high quality 7075 T6 aluminum forgings, finished with Type III hard anodizing with proper STANAG magazine dimensions.

Upper Receiver
Flat top, M4 upper receiver with M4 feedramps, T-markings, and TBRC logo laser-etched into the receiver.  Military standard, Type III hard anodized, multi-caliber, machined from 7075 T6 forgings.  Mil-Std 1913 picatinny rail for mounting optics and accessories.

Bolt Carrier Group
The TBRC Bolt Carrier made from 8620 steel features Parkerized exterior, and chrome lined gas key & carrier.  The 9310 shot peened MPI bolt has actual gas rings, not a spring. The TBRC M16 bolt carrier features a heavier profile at the carrier and under the firing pin.  This fully ramped full auto bolt carrier makes for smoother cycling and longer firing pin life.

Rail
The TBRC ARS hardguard made from 6061 aluminum features the Keymod interface system developed for multiple accessory compatibility without the need for picatinny rails surrounding the entire length of the hardguard.  This improved design enhances the rail's comfort and functionality while cutting out unnecessary weight without sacrificing strength and durability.  The TBRC ARS is a solid handguard machined from extruded aluminum and features a continuous top picatinny rail and QD sling swivel points at rear of the handguard.  

Barrel
The TBRC 5.56 M4 barrel assembly is made from 4140 chromoly steel and undergoes what is known as nitriding.  The nitriding conversion is applied to the barrel inside and out, and offers better wear and abrasion resistance when compared to chrome lining and a phosphated finish.  

Trigger
TBRC is proud to be using CMC flat bow triggers in all our rifle and pistol models.  CMC is a Texas-based, family-owned company that makes one of the finest AR triggers on the market.  The CMC flat bow trigger has a crisp 3.5lb. break with virtually no take up or over travel.
